THE MISSING PIECE

The Epoch Model derives everything from one constant: κ = 2π/180. But why 180? Why does this particular division of the circle unlock the geometry of reality?

The answer lay hidden in plain sight — in the counting system the Sumerians developed 4,000 years ago. Base-60 (sexagesimal) is not just convenient. It is the natural base for expressing torsion energy relationships.

THE KEY INSIGHT

60 = 2² × 3 × 5

This single number contains all three structural primes of the Epoch Model:

2² — The coin (binary facing)
3 — The triad (three primes: Energy, Now, Facing)

The numbers 1-7 on each side sum to 28 ≈ κ_shadow. Add the 4 watchers: 28×2 + 4 = 60.

THE EPOCH CONNECTION

WHY κ = 2π/180

180 = 3 × 60

The closure constant is literally "2π divided by three sixties"
— the triaxial division of the sexagesimal circle.

κ = 2π/180 = π/90 = 0.0349... In sexagesimal notation: 90 = 1;30 (one sixty, thirty ones) κ = π per 1;30₆₀ This is "π radians per sexagesimal degree-and-a-half"

THE ENERGY SIMPLIFICATION

This is where base-60 transforms our torsion mathematics from complex to elegant. Energy relationships between scalars become simple ratios.

New Form (Base-60 Elegant)

Energy at scalar S = E₀ × (59/60)^S Where: 59/60 = the "one-less" ratio = torsion decay per sexagesimal step = active energy (60 - 1 silent)

WHY 59/60?

In the dipyramid structure, there are always FOUR torsions — but one is silent (τ₄). Of the 60 divisions, one is always the hidden witness. Active energy = 59/60 of total.

This IS the universal coupling expressed in base-60.

From the s=0 observation point, energy relationships between phenomena naturally express in ratios with small-number factors. The base-60 system captures the maximum number of these clean divisions.
